If you are looking for a new machete to add to the collection, we recommend taking a look at the Condor 14” Golok, this sucker is one you don’t want to pass up on. From the walnut handle to the tip of the blade, it begs to be in use! Let’s find out more about it, and why we recommend it.
Let’s start with the handle. Made from walnut, you will find that it provides a good grip, which is very important when it comes to swinging anything sharp. It has a nice finish, and looks nice hanging up too.
The blade is 14 inches long, hence the name. With the 5-inch handle, that brings the total length of the machete to 19 inches. The blade is created from 1075 high carbon steel with a Golok style, then a black powder epoxy finishing was applied to really set the look off. It comes already sharpened too, so it’s ready to go. Although, if you prefer a different angled edge, you can always do that too.
It comes with a sheath that is 100% leather, that way you are able to easily carry it around whenever you need to. This makes it an all-around, decent machete to have in your shed, and why we recommend it. And for less than $60, it’s affordable too.
